Acupuncture Treatment Expectations

​What To Expect

​​​​​​The first time you come in expect to spend anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half. This includes a  complete health assessment and acupuncture treatment. Subsequent acupuncture treatments can be anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour.

Our needling technique is very gentle, and our clients usually do not feel anything more than a small "mosquito bite", which disappears in moments. Although people experience different levels of sensitivity, we work very closely with you to make sure your experience is comfortable, positive and you get the pain relief you seek with acupuncture.

Needles can be retained for 25 minutes to an hour or more, depending on how you feel. Many people even fall asleep.
